History of paintball

Have you ever wondered where or how paintball started. The most common version is that paintball markers where created in the 70s to mark livestock and other objects on ranches. Later in the 80s some people started playing a game of elimination in the woods by their house using their paintball guns. Word of this game got out, grew and was named National Survival game and thus later changed to capature the flag.
